The last three weeks have truly been roaming around in the vast emptiness as much as possible. From Big Bend along the Rio Grande to high mountain ghost towns in Montana and now along the edge of the Grand Canyon in Arizona down to Tucson, our route took us through some of the most spectacular landscapes, for us, on the continent. I posted a sample of landscapes which include the ghost town, Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake, the restored steam engines found at Promontory Utah where the golden spike was laid which joined the east and west railroads, the high canyons of Zion national park and the extraordinary emptiness of Northern Arizona. We experienced a brillant sunset close to the North Dakota border and the quiet loveliness of rural Lancaster County, Nebraska as well. Also included in the pictures in a snap of mother and child in his apartment in Missoula, Montana.
